IVAN GOYCHEV

Ivan Goychev has over 20 years of experience in developing software solutions for the financial, aviation, construction and cloud industries, which have successfully developed as established international companies.

He was also a manager at Amazon AWS, where he led teams on three continents. He was the Chief Technology Officer of CoBuilder, a Norwegian company with an entirely Bulgarian software team, for the development of a global platform for the exchange of structured data in construction projects with the aim of a greener construction industry.

In his free time, he voluntarily develops Podkrepi.bg – a transparent open-source donation platform that all volunteers can improve and develop together.

In his new role as Deputy Mayor for Digitalization, Ivan Goychev believes that he can help with his managerial and operational experience and, together with his colleagues from the Sofia Municipality, continue the development of the city for the benefit of citizens with increasingly efficient systems and automated services.
