Mr. Movilă is Entrepreneur, Investor & Advisor, part of ecommerce for over 17 years. Currently serving as Founder & CEO of OptiComm AI and President of ARMO – Romanian Online Stores Association. With experience in ecommerce and retail, combined with a solid educational background in Software Engineering, he has gathered solid knowledge across all major business areas. In 2018, he founded RELAMI, a technology company specializing in AI-based SaaS solutions for billion-dollar companies. Previously building VTEX presence in Europe as the Central and Eastern Europe General Manager & EMEA Sales Leader, part of the company’s incredible race from Series C and Series D founding rounds to IPO at the NYSE, his journey in the ecommerce and technology industries dates back to its early days in Central and Eastern Europe.
In his new role as Founder & CEO of OptiComm AI, he is excited to lead their mission of building a state of the art product in the AI-first world. Instead of forcing businesses to adapt to A.I. tools, we decided to adapt A.I. to existing business processes and human expertise. OptiComm AI is an innovative AI-powered platform that delivers predictive intelligence and forecasting and prepares your systems for smart automation. Our platform incorporates real-time data flows, deep learning, and human expertise to provide intelligent forecasting based on actual business processes, not templates. The strategic partnerships with technology and AI leaders such as AWS, Microsoft, OpenAI, and NVIDIA, and digital commerce giants like VTEX, Salesforce, CommerceTools, and Mirakl, ensure that OptiComm AI remain at the cutting edge of innovation and excellence.
As the President of ARMO – The Romanian Online Store Association, Mr. Movilă committed to supporting the growth of ecommerce in my home country, serving as the link between industry players and local and European authorities.
When Mr. Movilă is not shaping the ecommerce landscape or championing the industry, he follows his passion for adventure as an avid rally raid pilot. He frequently participates in local and international events, holding the Champion of Romania title in 2022 and 2023, with the ambition to participate in the DAKAR Rally very soon.
